SymPro Software is seeking an experienced Financial Software Implementation Consultant with a passion for working with clients to onboard them with SymPro Investment and Debt solutions. SymPro provides integrated solutions to automate and simplify core investment, debt, and cash accounting operations. Our solutions help hundreds of public sector agencies increase accuracy and reliability in financial reporting and reduce manual effort.

SymPro headquarters are in Lafayette, CA, but the ideal candidate can work remotely.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 
The Financial Software Implementation Consultant will be the key liaison between our customers and our internal teams, responsible for onboarding and training new SymPro clients. Specifically, the Financial Software Implementation 
Consultant will:

  • Be the SME on our suite of treasury products.
  • Own software implementations for new and existing clients.
  • Provide software support and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Learn from customer interaction to identify best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and Dev team to improve solutions.
  • Present webinars on products to existing clients.
  • Assist sales team in RFPs and demos.
  • Conduct client outreach to ensure optimal use of TDM solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Other duties and special projects as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  •  3+ years of success in training or implementation of financial software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Helpdesk/Ticketing platforms.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
  • Effective phone and written communication skills.
  • Positive and personable attitude with a customer service focus.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading client trainings and webinars!
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.  
  • Some travel may be required for on-site training and implementations.
