Cibar is looking for an experienced Software Developer with a passion for finding innovative solutions to develop and test our leading Trade Finance software products at its headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Cibar Incorporated is a financial software development company that was founded in 1969, consisting of 14 employees with an average tenure of 15+ years. The position will focus on defining, managing, and supporting international trade finance workflow solutions for our domestic bank customers. The Cibar team provides continuous improvement and usability for the applications we offer including first class support to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
· Continuously analyze and strengthen existing applications for reliability, availability, security, and scalability.
· Contributes to changes in development standards and processes.
· Conduct full stack diagnostics when necessary, to help determine the root cause of problems.
· Contribute to the continual improvement of solutions, systems and processes.
· Work on a fast-moving and highly collaborative scrum team.
· Provide emergency on-call support.
· Participate and be an active contributor to the team’s software development lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
· 5+ years of experience as a key C#, VB.NET, Web Development in ASP.Net, Microsoft SQL Database.
· General knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST).
· Some experience with IBM.MQ though not required.
· Experience writing SQL and stored procedures (MSSQL).
· Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
· ‘Get it done’ mentality with a love for creative problem solving.
· Experienced with Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps code management and planning tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
· Experience in high performance financial applications is a major plus.
· Knowledge of git and the gitflow branching model.
· Familiarity with Windows based infrastructures and design patterns including REST API's.
· Ability to tackle difficult programming challenges and to deliver consistently and on time.
· Good communication and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently/professionally with customers and internal resources such as development support, client services, application developers and management.

The initial training will consist of working most days in person, at our office, with a hybrid schedule in the future.
For Colorado applicants, compensation is based on qualifications and experience and may range from $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
