The Emphasys PHA team is seeking a experienced IT Operations Team Lead with a passion for finding innovative solutions to maintain and grow a team of technical engineers and Azure infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Development the IT Operations Team Lead will run and maintain a team of tech op engineers with a focus on IT ticket resolution, environmental stability and application deployments, client migrations, environment implementations, and general program management

RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Ticketing (Tier 2 & 3)
- Oversees IT ticket queue
- Serves as an escalation path for IT tickets
- Monitors and responds to email flow/alerts
- Monitors and responds to endpoint protection alerts
- Monitors and responds to Azure/Vendor alerts
Compliance Program Management
- Assists with any data security issues/breaches that occur
- Assists with documentation and calls for BU industry/3rd party audits
- Implements security requirements required by CSI/Vela
- Stays up to date with modern security protocols and maintains an above-average security posture for the organization
- Completes and Maintains SOC2 Type 2 audits
IT system billing
Calculates and provides monthly/annual billing information for some services, including:
- Azure Subscriptions
- Hosting services
- Operational Expenses
- Endpoint protection/security software
- Any other centrally procured IT solution(s)
Oversight and development of IT Team
- Serves as mentor for others on the IT team
- Monitors IT team composition to ensure adequacy for workload, skillset, and user load
Infrastructure Management
- Has a deep understanding of the Emphasys infrastructure
- Works with our MSP Coretek to build, maintain and upgrade current environments
- Looks for savings in Azure Environments
- Has a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Strong System Administrator experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or industry experience equivalent
- 4+ years of experience with Azure App Services and Azure SQL for hosted products.
- 4+ years of experience leading tech ops engineers
- Understanding of Azure billing and cost models
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures and design patterns including REST API's
- Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment and zero downtime deployment. Octopus Deploy a plus.
